[001 - Accidental Video]

[Well this was just perfect. All he had wanted was to take a nice, long nap after that last battle with Ryuukotsusei, and what did he get? Dumped off in some strange world, apparently. The city almost reminded him of Kagome's era, but it was also different. This place reaked of death and decay, and it almost felt like dark shadow was hanging over everything, sucking the life out of it. No doubt this was one of Naraku's little tricks.]


[There's no time to fret about this unwanted development, though. Inuyasha is very hard at work trying to figure important things out. Like what the hell this stupid technological contraption is supposed to be.]


[After a while, the PCD is accidentally turned on, just in time for those listening to hear Inuyasha talking to himself.]


-ooks like one of Kagome’s picture boxes, only this one’s smaller…



[He looks over the device for a bit longer, only to give a low growl and a short curse.]


Damn it all. [The PCD is tossed over his shoulder and quickly forgotten.] I don’t have time for this! I gotta find Kagome and the others. It’s faint, but I can definitely smell traces of Kagome and Sango around here. Not to mention Sesshoumaru and that bastard Naraku...



[Getting down on all fours, Inuyasha starts sniffing the ground, trying to pick up a better scent trail. This faithful puppy won’t stop until he’s found his friends.]

[A huge grin appears on her face. He's here! Oh, finally, things were getting better instead of worse. She could begin to feel safe again.

Well, as long as nothing weird started again.]

[Inuyasha can't help but feel immensely relieve. Kagome's here and alive, and for the moment she appears relatively safe.]

Where are you? Are you with Sango?

Yes, we're at the clinic. Sango got a little... beat up.

[She wants to give him directions, but letting him roam around by himself sounds like a recipe for disaster. She shakes her head, and points at him through the screen.]

Inuyasha, press that yellow button. It will tell me where you are, and I can get there faster than you can get here, okay? I know the area better than you do.

I noticed. Who the hell did that to her? Was it Naraku?

[Looking closely at the strange contraption, Inuyasha spots a yellow button and hits it with his thumb.]

You sure it's safe enough for you to be doin' that? If it ain't, I'll find you guys on my own.

No, it was a friend of hers. Last week, some people were acting strangely, and starting attacking each other.

[She's not going to mention that Sango and she had tried to go after Naraku during all that just yet, though.]

And this way is fine! Sango-chan is sending Kirara to take us there, anyway.

[She moves out, jogging towards the coordinates. She's probably going faster than is necessary, but she's too excited to moderate herself.]

[You can practically hear the teeth-grinding from here. Even when he had turned into a full-blooded demon, Inuyasha hadn't lowered himself to something like that.]

[Kagome frowns, a little exasperated. She was annoyed, too, but she wasn't quite sure who was responsible, so there wasn't much to be done about it. Sango had been a little vague with the details.]

If alright now, isn't it? He didn't mean to do it, and everyone is back to normal.

[She's been angry all week, InuYasha, and being bedridden for a while doesn't change that.]

I was the one who put myself in danger. He wasn't himself and I knew it. I was trying to stop him from hurting people, and I know he's hurting now because he'll feel guilty about what he did. He's been punished enough. [Sound familiar InuYasha? Yeah, she thinks so.] I knew what would happen when I did it, and I'm not sorry for it.

If you want to punish anyone, it should be me. Do your worst.

There's no need for anyone to be punished, okay? Sango-chan is hurt enough, and so is her friend. I'm sure he feels awful about it.

[And there's that Look. The one that says, "Knock it off right now, or there will be quick and brutal violence ahead."]

[Ttly not thinking about why everyone keeps ganging up at him. Damn women and their complicated emotions.]

[It takes a great deal of energy to say it, but he'll do it for Sango until she's not paying attention because she's his friend.]

Good. Then you might even get to meet him, one day. [All the deadpans.]

[She pauses, though, because she knows she'd be the same way in his position:] ...thank you.

[Even if she's not saying it, and not quite... appreciating it the way InuYasha might've liked, but she's missed her friend and his gruff protectiveness.]

...Kagome-chan, I've sent Kirara already. She should meet up with you soon.

[She gives a sharp nod, and shuts the PCD off as she comes around a building and sees Inuyasha. She waves, picking up speed to get to him faster. She'd missed him so much, and she was only just starting to realize just how different things were with him there.]

Inuyasha! There you are.

[Action] It's fine! Can't say I'm any better |D

[He catches a stronger whiff her her scent before he sees her, so Inuyasha is already on his feet before Kagome appears from around the corner.]

Kagome!

[Inuyasha practically flies over to Kagome, stopping just in front of her. He won't say it, but he really is glad that she's alright.]

[She would respect his space, too, but honestly, she can't be bothered after a month without seeing him. She hugs him, a huge smile on her face.]

I've missed you, Inuyasha. It's been a while.

[In a rare display of affection, Inuyasha allows her to hug him, even wrapping one of his arms around her in return.]

I heard you guys've been stuck here for a while. Sorry I couldn't make it here sooner.

[And with that, something lands heavily behind her, startling her a bit.]

--Eep! Oh, Kirara, it's you.

[Kagome's startled yelp also causes him to jump, but he quickly settles down when he also sees Kirara behind her.]

Keh! Guess you're still as jumpy as ever...

[He lets go of her and steps to the side.]

Hey Kirara. Long time no see.

[Not that it's been more than a day for him since he last saw her, but whatever.]
