I don't get what everyone's gettin' so worked up over. They're just trees with fruit on 'em. Stupid things don't even taste that good, either.

[He pauses to sniff at the apple a couple time, as though determining if he should change his mind about it. It smells just as gross as it did before, though, so instead he just sees how far he can throw it. Apologies if you suddenly get beamed in the head with a rouge apple.]

[A bunch to the face by Sesshoumaru wouldn't hurt half as bad as her words do right now. He backs away from her, looking flabbergasted.]

But....how?! He's killed you twice! He's behind the deaths of hundreds a people and demons, and you still care about him?!

Inuyasha, stop it. [She grits her teeth.] I am aware what he has done. I have felt it. [Shaking slightly, she grabs his hand.] Holding onto your anger and your desire for revenge will not conclude anything. He will return - even if you kill him - and he will keep harming you and everyone else.

I can't...let this continue. I would rather risk myself than anyone else.

[He angrily yanks his hand away from hers.]

I ain't gonna let that happen! You and the others may think it's pointless, but I refuse to just sit by and let Naraku have you!

[Turning, Inuyasha runs off. He has to get away from her before he explodes.]

[Kikyo's face falls and she stumbles back a step. His reaction is to be expected and her heart does ache for him.]

...have me? [She mutters those words, her own anger boiling.] Is that - [No. She will not get into this. He is hurting enough as it is.]

[Inuyasha can't even remember the last time he's felt this angry. Hell, even the rage he felt after that personality swap curse didn't compare to this. He feels betrayed and frustrated and right now he just needs to blow off a little steam.

With that, he heads toward the wastelands. There will undoubtedly be something there he can take his anger out on.]

[He might notice her Soul Collectors following him at a safe distance, keeping an eye on him in Kikyo's place. She doesn't want him to accidentally harm himself, though she knows the last person he wants to see is her.]
