[002 - Voice] Backdated to Monday night

[When the PCD is turned on, it's accompanied by the sound of something - or someone - hitting a wall. Inuyasha's laboured breathing can also be heard, along with the occasionally dripping sounds.]

D..damn it all... How the hell did that guy beat me?

[The PCD hidden away in his sleeve scrapes lightly against the wall as he holds his arm up against it, using the outside of the building to steady himself. His feet drag slowly along the ground as he forces himself to move forward.]

Crap. I gotta get back...before someone finds me like this. Gnh!

[He stops, grunting in pain. Finally his legs give out from under him, and Inuyasha's body slumps forward and hits the ground.]


[OOC: Backdated to after he gets the shit beat out of him by insane!Sephiroth. He managed to escape and is currently collapsed somewhere in the city. Try to find him before Naraku does, ok? :,D]

[Feeling the pain seeping out of his body, Inuyasha closes his eyes and tries to do as she says. It's difficult, but he manages to remove most of the thoughts from his head.]

[Raven feels his body relax as he tries to clear his mind. In turn, she closes her eyes and a soft white bluish glow appears under her palms. Reaching out with her empathy, she urges on Inuyasha's own healing mechanisms and soon the wounds start closing up slowly. She can't make up for the blood loss but at least, the blood vessels are mending themselves and the injuries disappear one after the other. When she's done, the glow subsides and she opens her eyes.]

Okay. I'm done.

[Opening his eyes, Inuyasha looks at his body. It's still caked with drying blood, but the pain is all gone and the external wounds appear to be healed. Slowly getting to his feet, he rotates his arms to make sure the pain doesn't come back.]

Well, I'll give ya one thing; you're pretty good at this.

[The sarcasm is obvious. Yet it means more to Raven than she will tell Inuyasha. It has taken months of training and practice for Raven to achieve this level of healing. But of course, he doesn't have to know that.]

Then you know that some of us have something inside that we can't always keep under control, even if we manage most of the time. Whenever it takes over, we're not quite ourselves anymore and when we're back to our usual selves we regret what we did.

I reckon it's exactly the same for Sephiroth. Except that, well, he's not a half-demon, but he has to face the same kind of issues as you do. [A pause.] And as I do too.

How'd you...what makes you think you know anything about it?!

[Is this girl really just like him? Her scent is different from that of a human's, but it's not entirely familiar.]

[Raven senses his fear and discomfort and sighs slightly.]

Because I am a half-demon, Inuyasha. Maybe a bit different from the ones from your world, but still. My father's a demon and my mother was a human.

[She'd thought she'd made it clear enough with what she said before or maybe that he'd be able to sense it, just like Sesshoumaru did. Apparently not.]

[For a while, Inuyasha couldn't think of anything to say. He never would have imagined that he'd find someone just like him in this strange world. Hell, it was hard enough to find other half-demons back in the Feudal Era. To know of another half-demon's presence here is...well, shocking is a bit of an understatement at this point.]

...So...your demon blood takes over too sometimes?

I guess you could say that. [Raven's not used to talking about this, especially to strangers. But they're the same, right? And she can sense Inuyasha needs to know. And maybe she needs to tell it too.]

The demon's always inside of me and if I ever fail at suppressing anger or sorrow, it takes over. I become much more powerful and dangerous than I usually would be and it often takes someone else to stop it... to stop me. When it's really bad, even my physical appearance changes somehow. [For instance, she'd have four red eyes glowing in the dark instead of her two dark blue ones.]

Is that the same for you?

[Inuyasha gives a slow nod, taking his time in speaking as he tries to determine how much he should reveal to her.]

Yeah. I don't have to suppress emotions or anything like that, but if my life's in danger then I'll transform. Sometimes I won't even remember it happening...

[Inuyasha lifts up his sheathed sword, looking at it.]

My Tetsusaiga keeps the demon blood coursing through me in check, though. If I don't wanna transform no more, then all I gotta do is make sure not to lose it.

[Raven eyes the sword with interest.] I met another demon, a full demon if I'm not mistaken, from your world a couple of days ago. He has a sword too, a very powerful one. Does he use it to control his demon blood as well?

Oh. Sesshoumaru is your half-brother, then. You two don't seem to like each other much. [Even if she can't help but wonder if Sesshoumaru went easy on her during their fight because she was a 'hanyou' protecting a human and that it reminded him of Inuyasha.]

You mean the sword he's using here is not the one your father gave him? Did your father give you Tetsusaiga?
