[002 - Voice] Backdated to Monday night

[When the PCD is turned on, it's accompanied by the sound of something - or someone - hitting a wall. Inuyasha's laboured breathing can also be heard, along with the occasionally dripping sounds.]

D..damn it all... How the hell did that guy beat me?

[The PCD hidden away in his sleeve scrapes lightly against the wall as he holds his arm up against it, using the outside of the building to steady himself. His feet drag slowly along the ground as he forces himself to move forward.]

Crap. I gotta get back...before someone finds me like this. Gnh!

[He stops, grunting in pain. Finally his legs give out from under him, and Inuyasha's body slumps forward and hits the ground.]


[OOC: Backdated to after he gets the shit beat out of him by insane!Sephiroth. He managed to escape and is currently collapsed somewhere in the city. Try to find him before Naraku does, ok? :,D]

[Ears twitching, Inuyasha opens his eyes, craning his head to get a good look at him. He can't help but growl slightly as he recognizes the kid that 'interfered' with his fight against Sephiroth.]

[Kurapica thinks about his situation for a moment. Under ordinary circumstances, he might leave Inuyasha to take care of his own injuries, but from what he can tell, the injuries are very severe. It could be dangerous. Not to mention, they did fight the same enemy, not necessarily together.

So Kurapica crouches down and allows the chain at his thumb to materialize: his Healing Chain.]

Where are your injuries the worst?

[Inuyasha growls as the chain materializes in Kurapica's hands. He typically doesn't associate things like those with healing tools.]

What? You gonna beat 'em with that chain if I tell you?

[...Idiot. Kurapica resists saying as much: probably wouldn't help him in the healing.]

No. The Nen used in this chain-- [The end of the chain floats up, as if by magic (though really it's Kurapica's Nen a.k.a. "Qi"), allowing the pendant to hover close to Inuyasha's eyesight. It's a pendant in the shape of a small cross.] --is used only for healing.

[Inuyasha stares at the pendant before glaring back up at him. He isn't really keen on seeing what kind of 'healing' powers his chain has, but at the moment he doesn't have much of a choice. He can't get back to Kagome and the others in his current condition.]

Fine. But if I find out you're tryin' anything funny with that chain...

[Understandable that he's cautious, but Inuyasha doesn't seem like the smart-thinking type.] You've done nothing to me, and there's no point in injuring you further.

As I asked before, where are you injured the worst?

Wouldn't be the first time someone's attacked me without reason.

[Figuring it's best for him to see for himself, Inuyasha slowly pushes himself up and shrugs out of his outer shirt. The inner white one is stained with blood, and the more critical wounds are obvious from the amount of blood around them.]

Why, because you're a Magical Animal? [That's what he assumes with the ears. A Magical Animal taking on the disguise of a human.

Nonetheless, Kurapica turns to examine Inuyasha's shirt from afar. The stains look pretty bad, but from that, he can tell where some of the worst injuries are. He sends the Healing Chain up and hovering over a wound on his chest.]

I healed myself some after the battle, so I only have enough Nen left for this much. It's certainly not everything, but it will have to do.

I'm a demon, not just some animal.

[He leans against the outer wall of the building, staring down at the chain.]

Does matter how many of 'em it heals. Even one or two should be enough.

[Since really he doesn't need to strength to fight, just the strength to walk back to the house.]

A demon...?

[He stiffens. He stops himself from doing anything rash just long enough to finish healing, but as soon as it's over, his healing chain is withdrawn.]

The only demon I know here is a man by the name of Naraku, and some one else warned me about him.

[Along with his energy to move comes the energy to be extremely angry.]

Listen, kid. There are a lotta demons where I come from, and Naraku is by far the worst outta all of 'em. So don't you even think about comparing him to me, you got that?

[Before Kurapica's attitude might have been one almost disregarding of Inuyasha, but at his angry response, Kurapica can't help but feel the twinges of anger himself. It doesn't help that's he frustrated by the whole situation with Sephiroth.]

Don't call me 'kid.' [He closes his eyes, his expression almost patronizing.] Demons don't exist in my world. Furthermore, you seem to know Naraku. How is that?

You sure as hell look like one.

[His scowl deepens, hand twitching for his sword.]

Let's just say I have a score to settle with him. He's ruined a lotta lives, and it's my job to put an end to him once and for all.

[For a moment Kurapica considers asking this demon more, just to cover all suspicions, but if Sango knew Naraku intimately only through bad means, then it was certainly possible for him to have a similar relation. It causes Kurapica to relent - but only a little.]

Then he is from your world.

[He shakes his head.] I apologize for stereotyping you with him. [Though he looks unhappy to be apologizing.]

[Inuyasha turns his face away from him, still bitter over being compared to Naraku even in the slightest.]
